Ok, ellen, I want to meet your son...he sounds like he is a riot! Love that sense of humor!
ellen, is so right! Keep looking ahead, your time will be there very soon. Once they get to A school, you can call, text and Skype. All will be happy and good in your world once again. Just hang in there. :) Heck, my son has even called me once from his aircraft carrier. Boy, was I surprised to get that call.
Good morning!
FTLW: He may be 1000 miles away, but he does manage to keep me entertained.
Last weekend he was having a hard time getting a spot on his boot repaired and getting it to shine. He sent a picture of his boots and the text was "One of these boots is not like the other one, not like the other one, not like the other one, one of these boots is not like the other one which one could it be?"
So to say the least it went from no contact in BC, to keeping me entertained and not missing him so much.
Ladies see there is life after BC, you will wonder which alien planet took him, and you can talk and text him bunches. Hang in there you aren't too far away.
Hope everyone enjoys a great Sunday!
see FTLW, I knew you would have one lol. So perfect!!!
Good Morning everyone.
Good morning everyone. Hope you have a good Sunday!
hahahaha ellen...I think you should put all of these posts about your son in a word doc! Too funny that you could counter-point everything! LOVE the alien smiley! ellen is one of my emoticon buddies!
also want to remind people we have a Facebook page for PIR 8/24 that is closed for privacy.
hi just popping in to say i got my first call..19min..he is very sick with congestion, cough, nose and voice etc..and had 4 teeth pulled :(..but he is still happy overall .he said his shins were fine so far.i also want to say i sent the rubberbands for him to bundle letters..and DONT SEND THEM ..he got IT for 40min because of it..i feel so bad and told him so..he said its ok mom..i also sent bandaids those passed ok but he said not to send anymore he can get them from medical person.he was cheery throughout but we both got abit emotional at time to say goodbye..it was so sad for me!..anyway..he said they get to write more letters now not just sunday..so life will get better that way !
