Thanks ladies!
Hunter518 - he did not say. The letter bounces back and forth, he sounds so confused as to what is going on. I think he is hearing both sides right now and just needs definite answers. I am shocked they would send someone home for an antibiotic reaction, when there are a ton of different ones on the market to use. I pray that they will make the adjustments and he stays in. He didn't say anything about changing ship or divisions. His address still show what the form letter does. So who knows...lol
So sorry to hear about your son. Who knew allergies would get you sent home?
Hopefully his appointment will go well and he can continue. He's in my prayers.
Race's mom...your comment about seeing the tears on his letter breaks my heart. That is so sad :( It brings tears to my eyes just hearing that. I can't believe the little things that these guys are getting sent home for. I will keep your son in my thoughts and prayers.
The area code that you should see on your phone when your SR calls is 847.
Some of you may have gotten a call from a different area code when your SR arrived, this is usually because they have borrowed a cell phone from another recruit to call home.
And letter was on Navy stationary[so wonderfully official] and it was a diff stamp than i sent with him..so not sure if they give him stamps ..made him buy some and/or he forgot he had a few :]!
Oh and I did have an issue with his address...some of you might too..his PIR address had 3405 vs should be 3505 and had wrong last of zip as 3401 when should be 3505..so if you all are in same ship div as my son you will want to change to correct address ..but someone from our div FB group talked to Public Affairs and they said they would get them..and i think even if theyre delayed abit its better than not getting them at all :)
Hiya..I wanted to pop in and tell you I got my first letter yesterday..he left on June 26 from AZ..so hopefully that means theyll start flowing regularly now.He said he was busy busy and confirmed only writing on Sunday but could receive other days.
He has grown up so much in 2 weeks I can tell..so far hes not sick or hurt either..but i know many are so I continue to pray they all stay safe!
He said he found the other guys interesting coming from across the country.
He talked about studying for upcoming tests and inspections having heard they were tougher.and said although it was tough there he was so glad he made the decision to go...so im happy and look fwd to his next letter very much.
