for
~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Quiet group here! Good Morning.....again! As you near PIR, are there any questions you have? Please post them here....we are glad to help!
Good Morning!
leeannemh,
Prayers for quick healing for your SR and for her to be back in the game real soon~~ ((HUGS))
Hi All!
"You have been a shelter for me,
a strong tower from the enemy."
Psalm 61:3
Here is what it says in the Family Guide about sailors departing Great Lakes:
.
Now, this means that all are bussed in the wee hours to wait for the Sat. flights. Some may fly out as early as 6 a.m.; others not until later in the afternoon, and lots in between!
Riah'sMamma: No, they normally do not fly out on Mondays,. I believe where you may have seen that is when Sarge told someone that one weekend, some going to a certain A School didn't fly out until Monday. That is very rare, and most likely was the result of some airlines glitch.
You most likely will have PIR day with your sailor, she will have to return to RTC around 8 or 9 pm that night, and will be bussed to the airport later that night, where you can meet her and wait with her. Be sure to get her flight info, including airport since they fly from two in Chicago, after PIR. You can meet her in the wee hours of the morning. Bring ID so you can get an airlines gate pass and wait until her departure.
There is a chance that some may not fly out until Sunday, which occasionally happens, but most will on Saturday. Just depends on when they can get flights. If she doesn't fly out until Sunday, she will also have Liberty with you on Sat.
My SR has been moved to RCU for stress fracture so I need to leave this group. Once she recovers she'll be moved to a new division where she left off. Best of luck to all your SRs and to you all as well!
Good Morning!
BrandyB,
20 minutes is pretty good! Some divisions only allow 5 mins if the division isn't doing so well as a team..... Yea, some of those phones need to be replaced, but I guess they don't get tagged. Great that you got to hear from your SR!
