Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 267 and 268

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Time to chime in...Div 267 from Nevada. Anyone else in this division or brother division??? Let's get connected!!!

My son is 18, just graduated high school two weeks before he left for BC. He is going into the Nuke Field after BC. He has a twin brother that is staying home to go to the local University.

Hope to get to know you all a little better before PIR!

Div 268 - My son is 24.  He's going to AO school in Florida after BC.

Looking forward to putting faces to names!  Only 38 more days!

Did you sign up for the Meet and Greet on Thursday night?

I haven't signed up yet, guess I better get on it! I didn't realize it was already set up actually. Thanks for the info.

My son is division 268 he is 20 and from California. He will  also be going to Florida after boot camp.

Wait what do we need to sign up for?

There is a meet and greet that Sarge hosts on the Thursday before PIR. Look on the far left section on N4M where it shows events. If you want to attend that M&G, it helps to RSVP so they know how much food to bring.
My son is 24 and graduated from college with a degree in geosciences. He's going to Nuke School in SC after boot camp
Nice to meet you Matt's Mom! My son wrote in his letter that there were 7 Nukes in his division and 2 in his brother division. Your son must be one of them!
That's great! I'm glad they have each other to support and study with.
My Girl is Ship 11 Div 268, and is also headed out to Flordia after Graduation. Since we're headed out on a holiday is there any word if we'll get to see them Monday also?
Welcome Denise! As far as leaving later because of the holiday...everything I've read has said they will all pretty much fly out on Saturday if the Sailors have A-school away from GL. Those who are staying at GL get daytime liberty all weekend including the holiday. However I did read that some will fly out possibly on Sunday. We probably won't get to find out until PIR day.

My son is also in ship 11 division 268. Nice to see there are other parents here with the same division. :)
