Linda, the sweater comment made me laugh. I went to PIR with my dad, my brother and my husband who all thought I was crazy for bringing a jacket. But my dad had to go get him some coffee to warm up while my brother and husband eyed me all warm in my jacket. This site rules! And PIR was awesome.

Had a wonderful time with our Sailor, and the information I learned from other mom's was right on target.  Early shuttle, sweater, and tissue, the PIR was wonderful.  So proud of my son and all those who stood with him.  Blessings and congratulations to all the 9/1 grads.

Leaving this group now...moving on!  Congrats, ladies, on all of your wonderful sailors!  Please feel free to drop into the current PIR groups whenever you like to share info.  They pretty much have them each Friday, so easy to find.

It was the most amazing day to say the least. Congratulations to the all the newest Navy Sailors and their family members. A special "thank you" to the veterans that helped guide us through Boot Camp. Words can't explain how much that helped all of us thru the encouragement, the information provided, upcoming events, to guidance up to the Ceremony..the list just goes on and on.
