Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

What an AMAZING day!  Congratulations to the newest Navy Sailors and their family members!  A very special thank you to the veterans that helped to guide us all during Boot Camp with words of encouragement, excellent information and emotional support through a tough 8 weeks!  Diannep, fireteamleaderwife, ochaos, and LaLa, I appreciate all you have done for us!  THANK YOU!

my sailor has matured sooo much. But cryed when he saw his 2 1/2 month old baby girl. It was soo sweet to see him!

You are very welcome, towermom...we N4Mom veterans love helping on the PIR groups!  Remember, you are ALL veterans now yourselves....so jump on the groups and help out whenever you want to!

T minus 90 minutes...hope many of you are in the stands as I type this!  Enjoy this wonderful wonderful day!  So proud of your new sailors!  HOOYAH!

Diannep, you have been amazing, you have no idea how much your info and supportive words along with the other navymoms and girlfriends have helped me  over these past 8 weeks! God bless you and everyone else!!!  Thank you very much. 

Finally arrived, got to talk to my SR last night for 30 minutes!!!  I can not wait till tomorrow - I will be up early to get in line!!  See everyone tomorrow and congratulations!!

Congrats to the FINAL NEW SAILORS OF PIR 9/1!  HOOYAH!  Get to bed early, ladies...you have a big day tomorrow!  Can't wait to hear the reports! 

ENJOY!  And remember...get started EARLY!  Very important!  Being on 6:30 shuttles is a good thing, or in the car line by 6 or so....worth it to get there early!

818 call!! Yeah! They finished at 8a.m., only now at 5:30 were they able to call. Phase 1 accomplished!

Just arrived @ the Holiday Inn Express - Hoorah! Now having a glass of wine (it's 5:00 Michigan time...) Hope all those waiting for a call will hear soon....can't believe they bump BS up so close to PIR.
