Got some letters today, YAY. He is also a flag carrier, happy about that, but he also has been sick, hopefully he's better by now. Can't wait to see them all.

"whole" not while.

The only possible "scheduled" one would the "I'm a Sailor" call after BS (even this one can be delayed if your new Sailor is on watch. That's why we ask moms to ask their Sailor if the while div passed so they don't worry if they don"t get a call right away.)
Any calls from now until then will be "earned" ones...so it is up to them and their RDC's. So pray hard ladies! I've heard of them getting calls for just having their boots/shoes shined well.

anyone know when the next 'scheduled' call should come? we got the one at the end of week 3 now just waiting for the next one...can't wait for PIR, he's also written and told me that he is now a flag carrier, he's going to look so sharp in his dress whites, flag in hand and shipmates at his side!

jodybrock, ((Hugs)) I know how it was to make a decision about that.

Tomorrow takes us into the teens.  19 and counting.  I just want to hear my recruit soon.  Hoping for good inspections this week for all divisions.  I think the phone calls are the only things that keep us sane back home.

Isn't it great to see that countdown on here keep moving down! I think back to when it said 1 month and so many days, etc.... We have come so far!!

Make sure his GF knows not to tell him too!

You are welcome and I am sure you will do fine no matter what...so will he!

Thanks everyone, for understanding both the heartbreak of losing our pet, and the dilemma of telling my SR. I think waiting until we are in private is a great idea..  I am not sure he will call me after BS, he may call his gf. But I don't want him upset in front of everyone, especially if he is emotionally vulnerable anyway. Thanks again. <NM>
