BritneyMarie..my son is also in a push division...he went up on July 6th and PIRing on 9/1, twice he's talked to me and said he is in a Push Div....but the date has not changed! For him, I found out that they had many Pdays since they started in a middle of a week, plus it was a holiday week, so some of the boys that went up after 7/6 are all PIRing on 9/1...I think they are just calling that DIV a push because of the two weeks of processing/intake!
I could be wrong, but that is what I get out of his communication with me.
Anyone else in this same boat?
I finally got my first letter from my SR on Saturday and within the letter he mentioned something. The first was that his division might be a push division to graduate even earlier than September 1st. Now if this is true when would he/we know about it? This is kind of rough because it makes it difficult for me to get my plane ticket and hotel room.
Hi Momofjess yes, there's a few of us. You can find us up top her with the ship # and div #, but just to make it easier here ya go. :) http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir09012011/forum/topics/ship-11-d...
Is there any moms for ship 11 div 282 wants to chat...My girl is there.
My son called me on Friday, minutes after I logged off from work (I work from home). I almost lost it. He called my mom's cell and luckily she had come up to help me pack (I moved over the weekend).
It was SOOOOOO good to hear his voice. It's been rough, there were some complications when they pulled his wisdom teeth so He'd been in SIQ for about a week or so and he's concerned about passing his final PT. Still makes me a little teary. I found out that we will have most of the weekend with him which is good since his B-day is 9/3. I can't wait
