Jen: So very sorry....I know emotions are just raw now. Praying that your son is led on another path soon....so glad he has family to help him through this.
I was reading some of the comments on that link and its so sad. What happens to these "kids"? I know it could be a bunch of different things but are these SR's getting hurt during BC for the most part? I pray my SR makes it through because that would be so difficult. I can't imagine what these parents are going through. Makes me feel bad that I stressed over waiting for my letter when it really could be worse. I'm so sorry again Jenmac. It seems as though there is alot of support there. It's always good to not feel alone. Good luck to your SR and your family.
I am so sorry jenmac, that must be so hard to know that all that time was spent doing everything requested and then he was sent home. I know right now it probably won't help much but I am sure there is something very special in store for him in the future. I hate that it takes so long for the paperwork to process them out of there and I hope it is much sooner than 14 days. I will keep you and your son in my thoughts and prayers. Please come back and let us know how he is doing and what he decides to do with his future. And please please tell him that I said that you so much for choosing to serve our country <3
I too feel so SORRY for you and what you must be feeling. That has been my biggest fear, my daughter not making it.... I to do scrapbooking, so seeing all you have must be awful...
Jen, first I have to say that is just awful. I'm so sorry. I sent you a friend request to send you a message and forgot the personal message. I can't imagine the emotions both you and your SR are having. I don't even know the right words to say. Why the delay in getting home, I'm sure he'd like to be near family now. I would be willing to buy the book, I don't think you should take a loss. We could all be this very moment at any time and it's scary.
Hello everyone! well i wont be seeing you all at graduation. My son ship 3 div 281 has been discharged from the navy (medically). We did everything that was requested. Did PFT testing, Got Waiver for Asthma, and spent all this time to build something great for him and He got sent home. i will get a call within 4 to 14 days to pick him up. I have a wonderful blues uniform Navy Scrapbook that i was going to build for him with his going away pics and bootcamp things.. Since i wont be using it and i dont want it to go to waste,. Who ever wants to send me you address I will mail you the scrapbook and all the navy scrapebook stickers that i have. thank you all for your help and support.
Jen
sharbear: Hoping that you can bring the "whole group" who are not on the list...they will have to wait probably but should get into PIR hall!
Yep, FTLW. Don't think I had shared that before. My heart was racing for quite a while when I found out it was the Medical area phone....not fun!
Whew diannep! Don't remember if I heard that story yet!
So hard but good that you googled it rather than called it. A caution...if your SR calls and you miss it...don't call the number back.
If he says he needs info though and asks you to fax something then do so.
Oh bethr. so, so sorry...I missed one of my sons first calls too...it was early on as well when many are still homesick...he was! It was so hard...the ladies here helped me so much! diannep's advice is great. BIG HIGS to you!
