Ooops....Angie.  Kind of disagree with ya on the extra guests.  Those of us who have been on these sites for a couple of years now have found that all are getting in.  Even in the PIR group of 14 divisions....all got in.  Same with the group that had 13 divisions.

Soooo.....ladies, please bring the extras.  Because chances are, they will get in to see the ceremony....and if, by chance, they don't (they would then stay in the Visitors Center), they will get to spend that day with your new sailor!

And, also, Lala's people on her sailor's list couldn't make it.  So they brought their "substitutes" and had no problem getting in. She has posted that many times on here.

Just wanting to correct this info since we know so many want to go.  Sadly there are so many sailors who will have no family/friends there so there are spaces. It is such an awesome ceremony!

Just a heads up!

Angie that's mean! LOL

Really agree with the glitter thing though(don't mean you will dump some in...but some cards have sprinklings of it)...it's invasive and hard to get rid of. They have inspections and you wouldn't want them to take "hits" (points off) for inspections.

Angie6... You might be messing with FTLW but some of those are legit questions I have. Lol I have only been to PIR as a recruit , so I knew what I was gonna wear. :) now as a mom I don't want to over do or under do it. Haha
Also, are the sort of assigned maybe by DIV?

Oh no, oh no,...and I know that Craig will know him...he worked  at the same place that all the military personnel do. :-(

So senseless...my heart is heavy today.

But we are celebrating hubby's B-Day today (I haven't mentioned anything to him - though he may know already and is not saying anything to me!)...so I will "lift myself up"!

Hi Dianne, just popped in for a few minutes.  On our way out now.  I'll be back on Tuesday for sure.

Finally got our letter today. I rushed right out to the post office to send off all the letters I've been writing. My son is on Ship 02 Div 943.
