Imv322 - great, to see another mom from the same div, although I guess we are all sisters here. Lol I really think I am handling the two of them being gone at the same time better than I would have imagined. Since they were assigned the same DIV I have more piece of mind that they can keep an eye on each other. You will be an old hand at this when your next one gets to BC!! What A schools are your two going to? I have one going to IT school and one to HM. Cheri from AL :)

I booked our hotel. I went ahead and booked the Ramada as it seems it has everything we are looking for pool, free breakfast, and shuttle to the graduation. I sure hope it is a bit nicer than the reviews I read.... I booked us in from Thursday to Sunday just to be on the safe side. My son will be going to MS for A school and not sure when he will fly out.

My son is ship 9 division 284. Got the form letter today but he didn't write anything!! Oh well, hopefully next week since they should get some time Sunday to write. Thank the Lord PIR is Sept 9! That's what the recruiter told me a long time ago so I took time off work around that. The 16th would have sucked! Please God watch over my son and all our sons and daughters that they remain injury and illness free and prevail to PIR!

Proud mom of 2navysailors-my son is also ship12 div 285 and in November my other son will be in BC. They were suppose to go together like yours, but due to a job change he was moved. How are you adjusting to 2 at the same time? I looking forward to sharing S12 D285 stories/letters with you.~Leyann from CT.

Just wanted to post again my sons are both ship 12 div 285. Curious if anyone else has a sailor in this group. So glad our PIR date is finally set and this group has formed, yay!

awe tracyln, i know that sounds like a long time. One ting I found was the days drag by but the weeks pass quickly. So, think of it this way 7 Fridays from tomorrow you will be at PIR :-) Before you know it you will be packing to go!!!

I will check on my groups on facebook and see if there are some others who will be in this PIR group :) If not now, I am sure there will be some soon.

Thanks for starting this group.  My son is ship 03 div 282.  I believe division 281 and 282 are brother divisions so they train together.  I am looking forward to meeting more moms as we journey together toward PIR.  I was so excited to log on and see our PIR date!
