i am SURE that he loves even getting just those! i kno thats the most important thing to him...and pictures! like ur doing, ive heard from a lot of people that their recruits love pictures. the other day i got a journey's magazine in the mail, and sent him some pages out of it of his favorite shoe brands and it had new styles on it...and i bought a car and driver magazine and am gonna send him a few articles out of it. but those are just some things mark really likes, and im sure he'll have to throw them away eventually but its probably just good for him to look at, i mean, if his RDC isnt taking that stuff away! lol. but those are just some ideas that i had, so i guess it just depends on ur recruit and what he enjoys! im sure you'll think of something! but dont worry, i know he loves what hes gotten so far!
thanks so much!!(: i'm hoping i get to go to PIR, it'd be awesome to meet you! I cut out a su do ku thing today, incase he gets bored when he gets his wisdom teeth pulled, or has down time..i cut out a packers article..and some car ones is a good idea!!(: thanks!!
oh awesome! yea mark is so funny, he HATES most sports, and doesnt keep up with the ones he likes...and im a sports FANATIC haha. so no sports articles for him...lol. but sudokus a great idea! poor thing, i hate that he has to get his teeth pulled. but np nicole! if you have any other ideas let me know too, ive been trying to think of more lately as well!
i've kinda been drawing some things.. like..i drew the symbol of USN and sent that..now i'm currently drawing a 2010 Mustang GT...
:)
oh sweet! i bet he'll love that...yea i drew something on the outside of his birthday card that i made him...his birthday was august 1st :( ah anyway lol, thats a really good idea
awh:) tell him happy belated for me!!
my son had is wisdom teeth pulled...is this something everyone has to have done?
alot of people have them pulled if they haven't already been pulled, it's normal:)
he's 18, so i'm sure he'd understand them!!:) that's a great idea!! i'm just worried about it being too "vulgar" and the RDC's being upset about it..he told me his recruiter said if it's demeaning in anyway, they can get in trouble.
Well in his letter he said they were okay *wipes forehead*
phew!
He said his RDC's are pretty laid back. As long as they're face shots, they're Aokay! thank youu!!!:D
My son said that he didn't want anything girly or mushy (moms can get that way). I did send him a singing card and he is worried that he will have to get up and sing and dance to it. He said that one guy got a card from his mom with the hamster dance song and the poor guy was so made fun of.
I know what you mean about it being empty. I am trying to write him often but there isn't much going on here. I was going to send pics or have someone from his work sign a card for him and send it on.
I guess even a post card helps.
Yeah....I mean, our town is bland..there's nothing much that ever really goes on, small town.
Thank you for the info though!!:) I'll get a post card!
