N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

momRN:  Here is a link to what weeks/days they do different things.  Like Kory&Joshuasmom said, if in a push division, it is a little off from this.

What division is your SR in?  I have an idea on BattleStations dates.

Kory&Joshuasmom: He is SHIP03,Div 315. His letters are all up beat so I am really not too worried about him, only with the wisdom teeth. I wish they would leave them in, his regular dentist here said no need to take them out 6 months ago at his last dental appt, they were straight and not at the surface, but the Navy wants them out.

Momrn... Which division is your sr in? My son is in a push division, so the day to day or week to week guide isn't set in stone. Not sure if you are on Facebook or not but the PIR groups do a good job of posting current training days there. Again, not set in stone, but gives uiu an idea

Good Morning all

Received a letter yesterday from my SR. He said they are doing the live fire weapons training on Friday so where does that put the DIV in regards to training week/day? Is there a way to  figure out when battlestations will be? Also he is having his wisdom teeth removed surgically on the 24th, isn't that alittle late in the training to have something like that done, yikes not too far off from his final PFT and battlestations.

Hello,

Here is a good one .I booked my airfare for four on southwest for PIR 9/18. I never got my paper sent to me saying my flight ,time date,ect.. So i look at my card seeing that I pay for it why isn't it show up in my email? Well I didn't want to book again and even at southwest it didn;t say I had an up coming flight. So I called there number and told them my problem.  The lady for southwest says to me here is the problems we put in the wrong email. Like my heart can take much more .

Lala Ribbon Queen: my daughter is doing awesome. We've gone through 7+ months of A & C school and followed up with 8 months deployment. But she's enjoying herself. She was able to visit 8 different countries. She's signed up for 6 years and planning on re-enlisting. She will be there for her brother's PIR, luckily he was push to an earlier PIR cuz if it was later, she wouldn't be able to attend...
