N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

My husband and I will be at the met and greet. My daughter is in Ship 03 Div 316 has anyone received called or letters from their SR in this DIV yet? I have not and was just curious if it goes by ship and DIV.

Lisa Lou, I have made mine through South West, and included Car Rental. Car rental can be cx'd up t0 24 hours in advance with no penalty. My SR is Ship 11, Div 312 also :)

Amy on the RSVP email I got from Sarge he mentioned there was a form to fill out. I can't seem to find it and emailed him regarding that but I only got a response asking what the PIR date is. I'm so confused. Lisa Lou are you flying out of TF Green or Bosyon? I'm looking at TF Green. I will be in RI next month & thinking it will be easier than Boston. I'd like to have everything in place by the weekend. Car rental included.

Thank you diannep, I did check my inbox but not the bottom of my page. I am slowly but surely going to figure this out. LOL.

I was wondering if anyone make their plane reservation? Should I wait to it gets closer to the date? I already made my hotel reservation. I also have to rent a vehicle. Should I make a reservation sooner than later?   We are coming from R.I. My SR is in ship 11 division 312.

We got  our sons call Saturday .My husband ask  Lou  is there anything you need from dad? My son replied yes keep writing and be at the PIR.

So of course Mom will get it done.

I also want to say thank you to everyone .

How many who are going to meet & greet are doing baskets and where do I find the form to do that?
Comment by diannep on August 13, 2015 at 8:33am

Sarge likes to get an approximate count of who will be attending so that he can order the proper amount of food for the dinner.  So be sure to put the number in your party in the "comments" section on that page.

Good Morning!
