OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

I have to admit, very sad that they were not able to make calls today. It has been two weeks since hearing his voice.

DylsMom,

I think the cars may even start lining up at 6:00 am since the graduation hall opens at 7:00 am, but you can bypass this line on Buckley Road waiting to turn right and drive to the left of it past the RTC entrance.  Go straight and to the train station where you can turn around and come back.  Then you can make an easy left turn into RTC!

You will start to see a difference in your recruits attitude, and how the divisions is working together as a team about week four. That seems to be the turning point as those who need to be weeded out are.

The RDCs like to tell them they are giving up on them, they are the worst division in their TG, and they are the worst they have ever seen. Nothing like a little fire under their butts to get it done. :)

Just wondering if anyone knows what time cars begin lining up to get in the gate for graduation?? I heard there is a long line of cars waiting to get in.?

Glad you got a letter Williewish I hope it gets better for your SR , my son has tried to help some of the SR's in his div that he could tell were having a hard time to get through it. I know he has hard days too but he also makes me laugh and tear up in his letters. Fingers crossed for a phone call!

Good morning! Same here. We received a letter yesterday. It made me sad and happy at the same time. He said he was having to write his letter standing because one of the guys was caught sleeping in the bathroom so everyone had to remain standing for the day. He sounded frustrated with the progress of his team. He made the comment that he feels his RDCs are going to give up on their division which made me feel sad, but I know this is just something they have to experience. He is still cracking jokes and being positive. He said he is not sad or depressed, which gives me comfort (he may just be saying that to give me comfort, but I believe him)

We just have to pray they all get through this as a team. Have a great weekend everyone. Thanks as always for all of your posts and encouragement.
