Saw Sam in San Diego. His grandpa died while I was there. Made the trip bittersweet. Now trying to figure a way to get him home for the funeral. Sooo expensive. My trip out there tightened the bank. Compassionate fares are NOT compassionate.

Had a super visit with him, did lots, walked more than I have since college. San Diego is a beautiful city. Mass transit system is great.I will send pics when I figure out how to do it.

Well our sailors are officially corpsman now.  So proud of them.  This graduation rocked.  A lot less formal but more personalized.  I don't know why they don't video and sell this grad.  I think everyone would purchase. Horror - my camera failed.  But Brenda the other N4M that attended took pictures and a small video that she said she would post.  Thanks Brenda.  Was able to meet all of our sailors in person today.  Now I can put names with faces.  Gave all of your sailors hugs for you.  They are amazing and I am honored to of met them. Going out later with my adopted sailors again today.  Can't wait.  Today more are supposed to be going with us.  I am the official Corpsman Mom for the next two days and I'm loving it!

Just a note about picture.  The tall sailor with NAVY on his jacet is Eileen's son and right next to him is Seby.

Sitting in hotel waiting for my son to come and get me.  He said he and some friends are taking me out.  Hope I can keep up with them.  lol  Have not really slept since Sunday morning.  Had a wee morn. flight.  Tried to rest after I got here but to wound up - like a little kid lol I can't believe that as of tomorrow he will be a US Navy Hospital Corpsman.  So proud of him and all of our sailors and their accomplishments..
