Happy Valentine's day everyone.  I talked to my son on the phone for about 3 hours on Friday about everything and nothing.  That is probably the longest telephone conversation we have ever had, and it was wonderful!  It is probably going to be awhile before I see him again and conversations like this really keep me going.

Okay, wondering how Sharon is doing on her adventure.  She must be having a great time.

Seby called and he is officially finished A school and will grad on 2/15.  Woo hoo!  I can't wait to hug him -.  I also am hoping to meet some of the N4M sailors that were in A school with him as well.  I have found my "blue crayon" and am clutching it tightly in my hand.  Now I guess I should pack some clothes. lol

Oh Donna I'm so sorry, you have had a rough few months!  I'm glad you get to go see Sam though!  Prayers for your family! :)

Txsailorsam - I am so sorry to hear about your father-in-law.  I truly understand what you are going through and prayers are going on for you and your sailor.  Have your sailor remember the good times and that he was able to see him at Christmas.

Please be keeping SF in your prayers. He is having a tough time knowing his grandpa will die soon and he can't see him or go to the funeral. Talking to him is also hard because he is in and out of lucidity. He is very thankful he got to spend time with him during his Christmas leave.

Cindy the  water looks so inviting, beautiful.  tiff's mom... my sons got to sleep on the Lexington years ago when they were in CAP. They enjoyed it.

Will leave at noon Thursday to see my boy. I can't wait. so far the weather in SD looks like it's to be a beautiful weekend.

SF seem excited about me coming. He has planned the whole week-end down to where we are eating.

It's a break I so need after losing dad at Christmas. We took my father- in- law to hospice today. He only has about 2 weeks left. It's been a wild 6 weeks. SD will be a great reprieve.

When I return I will need someone to explain the brat packs to me and how to get involved.

Cindy your family is beautiful! :)

GUESS WHERE I'M SLEEPING FRIDAY?????   My sons ROTC group needed a female chaperone, so I volunteered!!  We are taking a charter bus down to Corpus Christi to sleep on the USS Lexington!!!  It was dry docked in the 90's and made into a museum!  I have to call in sick for work on Friday because we leave around 10:00am and return on Saturday!!  I'm excited but not happy about being cold and sleeping on one of those cots! haha   Told Tiffany I get to sleep on a ship before she does! haha   I can't put this on my facebook since I will be calling in sick... will wait till Monday :)  and will take lots of pics!!!

Beautiful picture Cindy!

Wanda, will do my best for pictures.  I am not the greatest.  Seby's future mother-in-law took most of the pictures at PIR.  I am so excited though, hope the weather holds out.
