Oh my gosh... I haven't cried like this in a long time... it's happy/sad tears!!!  Your stories are so inspirational to those in the service :)  I'm sad for Donna's dad :(  Happy for all the kids coming home, sad because the stories make me sad, Happy because...... well, it's just up and down! LOL   Tiffany's dress blues are nothing like the boys, you cannot tell she is a sailor :(  She doesn't have the cool flappy thing on the back that shouts "Sailor" her dress blues are more like a suit... you would think she is security guard or airline steward LOL  WHAT a wonderful thing for all the kids to be able to call, email, or come home :)  I wish steph and jenn were home too :(  I'm sorry for Reenie and AJ for not having them home, but thank goodness for the cell's and email! :) :)   Tiff is off hunting with her boy and won't be back until Friday, she has witnessed a raccoon being shot, a turkey and a few deer (we are not hunters) I asked if she will go again, she said she would have to think about it LOL  She said the Lodge was cooking them dinner tonight, I asked if it was beef or deer, she laughed and said "OHHHH I didn't think about that!!!!" LOL  I haven't heard from her, so not sure what she ate tonight :/

Dad has taken a turn for the worse... he's been in surgery to close up his chest  after yesterday's heart surgery.  Blood preasure has taken a nose dive.  PLEASE PRAY for it to normalize. He has been in surgery that was supposed to take an hour for 6 hours now.I want dad to get well and I want to see my son.

Just checking in on my extended family, hope everyone is doing well.

Sams mom - I am so sorry for your dad.  Prayers are going up for him and your family.  You made the right choice, Sam will be home again and praying that your father will be.

Joshs mom - woo hoo that things worked out for you.  My family drives me crazy sometimes too, but we always pull for each other when the chips are down.

Jane, congrats on your sailor making it home

Tiff's mom - she will be fine.

Reenie - wow what a phone bill!! Glad she can keep in touch with you otherwise.

Everyone have a very Merry Christmas

TXsailorsam- Praying for your dad, and I just know that the answer to your delima will come to you easily as the day goes on. I lost my dad years ago, he had a stroke...I still remember the last hug I gave him, the last time I spoke to him. Whatever your decision, I wish you and your father peace.

Josh's mom- glad things are looking better for you!!

We are having an amazing time with Daddy home!!

Wishing you all a Blessed Christmas!!

Josh's mom and Jane..... I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy they are coming home tonight!!!!!!!

Tiffany is out hunting with her boyfriend, his bro and dad.... only girl, got her period, so she may not be the happiest camper! LOL  she texted from his phone, she does not have service out there where they are hunting.... so hope no one shoots each other (we are not a hunting family, Tiff has never shot a real gun and she missed shooting in boot because she was on LLD)  soooooo I hope all make it out alive! :)

OK....  I've been thinking about Sam and mom and what would I do????  I've lost my parents, brother and sister.... I have three kids and was wondering what would I do...  I think I would see my dad (as you have done) and would want to say all things I could say to him and be at rest with that..... I know you haven't seen Sam, but he's going to come back again!! :) :) :)   Sam will understand and you can build more memories with him....  Donna, you made the right choice in my eyes :) :)

Well Sam got home this evening.:) but I am in Baltimore. My dad had emergency heart surgery last night and they didn't expect him to make it through the surgery or the night. He has another surgery tomorrow to put his chest back together in the morning. I am so divided about where I should be... with dad... with Sam. Sam understands.. but I can almost feel the desire to be with him. I have been looking forward to seeing him and counting down the days and then this.  I cannot imagine not being here with dad either and only hearing from afar how he is doing. I so needed to be able to see for myself how he was doing and be able to tell him good-bye if it was inevitable that he was to pass away. I will be at the hospital tomorrow for the surgery, see how he is doing then make a decision about going back home to see my sailor. When he got home there was a vinyl banner on the trees that said "Welcome Home, Sam". He was very blessed. He called me and told me. I gotta love that kid.

I never thought Japan got cold either! HAHAHA  What a great idea on the map!!  I am hoping Steph gets her package in the next day or two.... and hope it's not all crumbs from being tossed so much, next time, I'm going to bubbly wrap stuff!!   Are you keeping in touch on a regular basis with her?  like daily, every few days ??   I think another one of the girls in the group was sent to Japan too, I don't know the first name, but last name is like Pinkey hahaha Don't want to put the real name, maybe she will get put on Stephs ship!!

What a wonderful couple that adopted Tiffany.  That was so sweet to continue to think of her and send her something.
