Probably should have proof read my post a little better-

Josh's mom-what A school is your son going to in California?

Josh's mom-sorry to hear about your friend.  What is your A school is your son going to?

I imagine this board is going to get kind of quiet in the next couple of weeks as families spend time with their sailors.  I just wish I was one of them.  So I will just talk to him as much as I can and be thankful for the family I do have around me.

Teri-lucky you, wish I could have gone.

Reenie-love the pictures of Steph.  She looks adorable even splattered in paint.

LTLY-you sound so cute getting ready for hubby's homecoming.

Praying for safe travel for the sailors.

Hello ladies.  Just checking in from my lovely vacation.  Took a cruise out of Galveston to Cozumel and Progresso  Mexico.  Had so much fun I lost track of time and days.  Returned home today from vacation and my Ariel will be home in the morning.  She has her boarding pass printed and ready to go.  She's called several times, because she is sooooo ready to come home and get spoiled.  She's requested her favorite foods, and looking forward to spending time with family and friends.  I pray that everyone has a blessed holiday with their sailor, and those who will not see their sailor for the holiday I pray you all get to communicate via phone, email, text or fb.  I pray that every sailor has safe travel during this holiday season.

Tonight I am very restless.  Haven't heard from my sailor today and I know he had a test and has to get ready for tomorrow morning early.  He will not fly out until after 6 pm but wants to leave with the other guys.  He will stay in the USO office until he leaves if he can't get a standby on an earlier flight.  I can't wait.

This is how it went today - I fought the tree, and the darn tree won.  So it will stay undecorated and unlit until Seby gets home.  Then I will mark it like for a kid so that I can do it next year. lol  On a brighter side, a friend who has known my son since he as a little guy is doing his welcome home banner with picture and all and it will be ready by tomorrow.  Thank God.

LTLY - I know how you must feel, butterflies in stomach and all.

Maureen, I love the pictures of your daughter.  She looks great in her paint and all.  She is so pretty.  God Bless her and you.

Good morning all! It is  and dreary here today but my spirits are high as my sailor will be home tomorrow night.  Woo hoo!  I can't wait.  Now, I need to get off N4M and FB and get cracking with my decorating and such.  Still need to see if I can get his welcome home banner done in time.  Yikes - I am keeping the faith for that one.

Didn't really want to nag you Reenie, but yes you need to join us on FB.

Just heard from my sailor a short while ago.  He was saying how proud he is to be in the Navy and of  the sailors he has met.  He said it was really emotional today as one of the sailors in his class grandmother passed away and he was upset as he didn't have enough money to get home.  My son said all the sailors in the class raised money for him to get home.  The young man (sailor) was so touched that when they gave him the money he cried.  Once again I will say how AWESOME our sailors are!

Reenie-just watched the clip.  How cool that your daughter got to participate in that exercise.
