Sailor mom- Jan C- if you look at the top of the page where you order the free one it is hanging vertical. That is the way it is supposed to hang. It has gold fringe at the bottom and tassels on the sides at the top. I know I have seen them on the web with two stars or more but I don't think they have them on the free site. Just look on that page and if you can't find them then do a search for blue star flags and I am sure you will find several different pages where you can order them.

Cindy: Messaged with Jessica about the airport locker. She doesn't really know either, but feels like you and I do. A bit risky...unless you want to chance having to drive the 26-hr roundtrip to retrieve them in the event he can't get them!

I am going to continue to mail her stuff... just stupid stuff, nothing important though. Just in case mail decides to go fast for some reason, I don't want her sitting there for a week or two with no mail! LOL

sailorgirl: Probably best to stop writing about 10 days before PIR. Although I hear the letters are forwarded, I also have heard from moms whose sailors never got them at A School.
