Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Arm warmers?? Would that be a jacket or sweater? hahaha I've been wanting to buy some rain boots for forever!! and Tiff would always roll her eyes when I would look at the.... I feel now that I'm liberated in going shopping! I can buy what I want and not ask permission of the 21 (girl) and Tiff... I did have her brother with me last week at walmart and asked him about a shirt I was looking at... he curled his nose up and said "Are you done yet?" hahaha

I am actually looking forward to some cooler weather!!.just hope the rain holds off .lol.. but will face whatever weather we get. think goodness for small umbrellas

We did have the first white Christmas up here since 1920's last year...was fun!!

@proudnvymom- yeah, I agree. We were talking about what to wear to PIR (EARLY this morn) and it looks like we need to just wear rain boots. Maybe it will change as we get closer!

Weather if GL looks like the hi will be in the upper 60's for our PIR weekend. Don't forget the umbrella!

Happy Sunday!
Along with prayers for our SR's and their RDC's, I would like to add prayers for our fellow N4M's. That we may have emotional endurance for these days leading up to PIR.
