Good morning everyone..... wow ya must stay up late... and I thought I was a late one..lol... of course Im on Eastern time...thanks Diannep for the reminder ..I will pass that on to my son's gf.... Ive actually invited her to come read alot on here so she would sorta understands more... she is a sweetheart and is missing him terribly...We are still waiting on a baby here... my truck wouldnt start yesterday when we went to Walmart .. but thank the Lord after 30 min with hood up and nobody(men ) offering to see if they could help even seeing a pregnant lady ready to drop..lol I finally got it to start.yes i did do some praying.... one of her neighbors checked it out and says it maybe the battery got to run to adv auto and let them see... just what i needed ....anyway we know one more week for sure we will have a baby... and then few days later on the way to Great lakes... wow... time has flown and I am not
complaining...lol .... hopefully today will get to meet for lunch with an old navy wife buddy from the 80s we keep up on phone and FB but its been a long time since we were face to face...I can remember those old navy days right here in Jacksonville. we had a wifes club and gave each other alot of support... we didnt have internet like now.. so phone calls and get togethers were our way of handling deployment and all... ... It is wonderful how now we can sit in our homes and talk to so many from all over and become great friends....ok enough of my rambling...lol....will keep all of our SR's in prayer .. all of you have a wonderful day... :- )

I don't know what happend yesterday, but we are all Proud Navy Moms, and all of our children need our support, no matter if your child passed this or that, and others didn't, this is a division, and not only do they have to start thinking in a village mentallity, but so do the supporters. Im proud of all our boys and continue to pray that they have success now and in the future. Regardless, these boys have signed up to do somethng thats SO SELFLESS, IF need be put their lives on the line for our everyday freedoms! Now things may be tough on them now, but best believe they will NEVER forget this experience. No one in our division has received any failure phone calls-so thus far, our boys are on track to grad on time. Just keep the faith ladies, our boys need positivity right now, no negitive thoughts! They will be all right-Remember,no news is good news:)

Remember, ladies. You will not have alot of time after PIR to hang around. So get your pictures quickly. They will start ushering you out of the PIR Hall within about 10 minutes. So hugs, pictures, hugs, more pictures, and more hugs quickly! :-)

Also, a PDA (Public Display of Affection) reminder for wives and gfs! They are very serious about that. No hanging all over your sailor outside of the hall. NO hand holding at all....you may take his LEFT arm....not right as he has to be ready to salute at all times. Please be respectful of this rule....they can get in big trouble if you violate this. This is true even off base....because they are being "watched" when out in public. Your sailor will be well aware of the consequences, so help him to honor this rule and save the PDA for the private places!
