Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I agree!!! I'm super picky... well, When you have two teen girls (not teens now) but telling you... MOM that is ugly... you can't get what you want... I think I have pretty good taste... but NOT according to them.. I was at Walmart with their brother this week... he called me, where are you?? In the dressing room, hold on (I do NOt normally try on) so we went to find me some shirts on sale.. held one up.. he's like NOOOOOO it's old lady... SO now.. I'm going "COMMANDO!!!!""" NOT like yall think.... I'm going alone and going to buy my own outfit, it's been over 15 years.... but I'm going to do it!!!

Since candles are dangerous, and alcohol burns like a candle, maybe we can have a sky vodka vigil instead of a blue candle vigil. And we should start the first night of bs and not stop till PIR.
