Reenie - Great news you can communicate with your daughter

Louann - It's about time they got that Keel to you. Persistance is the key. I know when Ariel gets home she'll probably be with her friends alot also, but it'll just be great seeing her at home and sleeping in her bed.

Seabee wife - Ouch, I'm sure that really hurts. How in the world did a healthy person break a hip. Prayers go out to John's friend.

Josh's mom - Ariel was in her keel in at least 4 group shots, and I didn't realize it until my sister brought it to my attention. I thought she was in 1 group picture. The pictures are so small I did not recognize my daughter.
May God Bless and keep Patch and his family and friends comforted as you all deal with his critical condition, and I pray that Patch's family and friends remember and cherish the funny nice guy that God has allowed to grace your presence. Memories are forever.

Wow, I can't believe it is only 8 more days until my son is home and sleeping (maybe if not out) in his own bed. I better get busy decorating inside. Just praying I can figure the lights out on the tree, that was Seby's job every year. Hubby has the outside almost done. He has been working so hard, God Bless him. Shopping - forget it, thank God we celebrate The Three Kings here, gives me more time. lol Hope everyone's plans are running smoothly.

Reenie - super happy to read you can now communicate with daughter on ship
Louann - glad to read son is home and enjoying his time off.
Seabee wife - how awful, I hope he is doing okay and pray that he doesn't get set back in his classes. Prayers going out for him. Have hubby explain that all the N4M/wives/moms have his friend in our prayers.

Will pray for your friend Josh's mom..... I also want to be involved with Brat packs...I dont know why but it popped in my head as I was reading another's suggestion.. but Kurt meant alot to his elem teachers all the way up to high school...but mainly his kindergarden teacher....in fact she had his neice few years ago and one day he went with me to her class and she was soooo excited seeing him all grown up... i think she would like to know what he is doing and knowing her i can see her having her class make cards or something ... I dont know just an idea.... also kurts aunt called for his address their church sends packages to our local military...once a month and wants to adopt him...... did i see that someone is making a facebook group page for this group....?

Hi all. I haven't written in a while, but I have been popping on and off just to check in. Love the Brat Pack idea and would like to be involved. I am very excited for those of you who get to see your sailors soon. Wish I was one of them, but the military has dictated otherwise.
@Sharon-so sorry that your daughter doesn't really have any girl friends to hang out with. If I were closer I would go shopping with your daughter and hang out at the mall with her. My daughter was my shopping buddy, but she went away to college this year, and then shortly after she left, someone set fire to my local mall so now I can't even go shopping by myself! LOL.
Hope all is well with everyone!

Trying to be patient and wait for my sailor to call so I can wish him Happy Birthday and find out how he did on his test today. Waiting sucks. (Not as bad as when he was in BC though) lol Hope all have a great evening.

TxSailomom- I tried going on the site for Moms of Corpsman in A school and didn't care for it at all. I just didn't seem to fit in. I love being here with all the moms/wives that went through Basic with me (and my sailor). The support and love here is not replaceable so I stay here.
Eileen, great ideas for having our own "signature to speak" for Brat Packs. I am so excited about this project.
