All my son ever wore was t-shirts/jeans and sandals. I can not even imagine him in boots. I am sure that has been a hard adjustment. Not to mention his pants up on his waiste. It will be interesting to see.

Has anyone heard if baby Parker has arrived?

I have been doing my own form of PT since my son left for boot camp. I told him I would be doing this to show him my support for what he would be going through. So when he is gruelling through his own PT, he would know that sometime during the day, I would be going through my own PT. Last night I think I broke my toe, which is going to seriously put a damper on my PT!! Probably I will be focusing on core work for awhile.
Hope everyone has a great day today!

Mornin' Ya'll!
@bonnie- based on the dates you posted, your SR should now be done with Hell Week!

I have house chores this morning, so I will be back on later. Everyone have a great Friday!

I am sitting here at work day dreaming about what I will be doing at this time 2 weeks from now. I am so excited.
Lala...I am so looking forward to getting the ribbons. I know they are beautiful.

I would def risk loosing $25 in cash before mailing the debit card. Especially this late in boot camp.
Who- I think you have talked with my sailor daughter in another group on this site :)

Sailorwife- I have received your payment and I am working on ribbons all day today :) You and many others will have them very soon. I mailed some to others yesterday and more will go out today. The remainder for this PIR group should be sent by Monday. I can't wait to hear what you all think of them. :)

@sailorwife... Yes, cash would probably be best. He should also have what's called a recruit card, or something to that effect, that's what I used when my division went to the NEX to pick up a few items.
Comment by diannep on September 17, 2010 at 7:16am
sailorwife: I'm almost thinking you would be better off to enclose a little bit of cash in a letter to him at this point rather than risking mailing his debit card to him. If you will see him at PIR, better to give him both cards then. But if you really want to chance mailing the debit card, you can overnight it to him. Doesn't mean he'll GET it the next day, but it should at least arrive at RTC overnight. The problem is that he won't be able to call you to confirm he got it. I don't know....at this point, I think I'd be tempted to send about $25 cash to him instead????

@bonniern, "hell week" is generally week 4 in its entirety. makes for a very busy, yet rewarding week.
