I hit the jackpot today...I got a letter and a PHONE call. I am so jazzed. SR said he is doing very well. Got 4.8 on first academic test, 4.83 on the second ,5.0 's on inspections. I am so proud of him. He said his division is doing well as a whole. He got a 5.0 on the weapons assessment. He was shocked . He's never held a gun before. Must go, grand son needing attention.

If a rct is asmoed they make a call to their family to let them know... again... no news there means good news.

Good evening all. Received a letter from my SR today. What an upbeat one. Was happy because he lost 1 1/2" off his waist. Said that their division did good on their PFA so they had a little down time. He said they received their flag because everyone passed. Thank God, at least I can stop sweating that one out. He was having a little problem with the running. He says the RDC's really support and push them hard as they want all to pass.

Just got home from work, and got letters dated, 09-12-10. My daughter wrote her granny also, and she wrote a letter individually to me and my husband. She reports passing tests and PI, and being in class on the 13th for gun familiarization. She mentioned the fact she's never fired a gun, but is excited about learning something new. She continues to be concerned about her run time on final PFA. I continue to pray for my daughter and all the other SR's in our PIR group. She's yearning for a long shower by herself, and asked for a spa day during liberty the weekend of PIR. We'll see about that spa day, because we're spending so much money to make PIR. She is so spoiled.

I posted it in the BS thread too! Yes...from what he wrote this week, he stated that BS starts the 28th and ends the 29th.
