Although i dont remember exactly what it stands for, eileen, its not something a recruit wants to hear. its getting held back for whatever reasons. they didnt pass an inspection so their RDCs could put them in with a division who is a week or two behind so they can re-do it. there are many other reasons one could get ASMO'd but i hope this helps.

Congrats Reenie!!! She's doing soo good!!! I hope T is not one that got ASMOEd... maybe that's why I didn't get a letter on "Thursday Letter day" today :( I hate the NOT knowing, it's horrible!! And her letters have been so chatty... maybe it's my mailmans fault, but now I'm afraid she didn't make up her time on the run *biting nails*

@sailorjay Maybe the UI is their drill inspection, its given to the division as a whole. Ive been outta the boot camp mind frame for a little while now, and where im at UI means something completely different. its hard to write letters home and realize that loved ones probably dont understand the lingo haha. I'm glad he seems to be doing better.

I'm rereading SR's letter. the UI could be a WI.

Who: is there a UI(unit inspection?) I wish my SR would give me more details, but at least he passed. I was worried. Better letter this time. I think his "Tim Taylor" is now "Jill Taylor"?lol

if she said she passed, that includes everything. now, if this was her second PFA she still has to pass the third and final one or it doesnt count, unfortunately. the 3rd one makes or breaks it regardless of what shes accomplished thus far.

ricky423, they -should- be making that call sometime early in the morning following battlestations. so depending on time change, be ready for a wake up call haha. My division however, did not get to make this call.
