For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

LTLY: Hoping that you get a call from your recruit....I bet he can clear up the confusion on when 946 goes through BStations. On the 9/24 group where we are trying to figure out BStations dates, there are still 3 saying one date, 3 another....for the same divisions! UGH! Confusing....

I hope his next letters are more up beat, beyond the physical aspect of boot camp it is an 8 week emotional roller coaster, but boot camp is just the beginning. he has a lot to look forward to

Who: thanks. my SR's last letter was a downer. he thought he was a "Tim Talyor" of the division. You just lifted my spirits alot.

thats the division as a whole. you can earn many flags in boot camp...academics, drill, Battle E...so on. you will see all their flags presented at PIR.

Question: when we hear from SR that they got a flag, is that the group or the whole division? Is that the same for the inspection?

My SR also mentioned that Div 946 scored 4.9 on their drill inspection :)

I just ordered my Navy Scentsy warmer! WooHoo! I have got to find a place where I sniff the waxes to find out which ones I like! But the warmer is great and I can't wait to have it on the book shelf with the scrapbook and other goodies I have been collecting.
