For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi All! Just got a phone call! My SR is doing great, says yesterday they finished hell week and today is officially 5-1. He said that their battle stations starts Sun. evening on the 26. The call was short just 15 min. but said the Div is doing really well and that he would be calling again tomorrow and should be able to talk for like 45 min. Yeah!! :)

Woohoo!!! Just got a call from my son! Almost fell off the treadmill trying to answer my phone..lol BS21 is on the 27th! Said they may get to call again tomorrow.

946 is on week 5 day 1 today. Their Hell week was split up over the weekend, which to me seems like it would give them sort of a break, so maybe it was a good thing.
