Sailorwife-
I know! I put hubs on a high protein, low fat/carb plan before he went to boot and he lost 35 lbs. They kept him on the same plan there, lol! He made his body fat% and was actually at operational so no worries. But I can imagine he's dropped 15 more in fat and gained a good 5-10 in muscle. I told him he couldn't take his band with him either because I didn't want him to lose it. It was loose before left.
I am now on a diet because we were happy fat kids, but now I'm going to be the lonely fat girl and that simply will not do, lol! I've lost 12 lbs in the last 3 weeks. I have a long way to go but I also have 6 months before I see him so it will be cool to surprise him with the "new and improved" me. I gotta be able to keep up with him too.

My hubs is 28 and one of if not the oldest too, lol. I called him "Gramps" hahaha. He was soooooo outta shape. But he said he passed the swim and can do the run in 12 minutes which is a pass too for his age group. He didn't mention the other tests so I assume those were ok too. I was worried that he wasn't going to be able to do it because he was never a "jock", he was a computer geek. But he said they have to keep tailoring his cracker jacks cuz he keeps shrinking. I guess I will have to Goodwill his wardrobe and he can buy all new stuff. No need for jeans and such that are 4 or 5 inches too big, lol.

No Linda, he didn't give a name. Don't worry, I'm sure it wasn't your son.

Oh, I'll be there front and center. Won't miss it for the world. I was just hoping to get to see him in next weeks PIR photos. But that was very kind of you, thanks. Hopefully, I'll get to meet you and the other ladies on here.

I am very proud. He's an only child and has traveled a bumpy road to get to this point. I hope to catch a glimpse of him in someone's picture next week. I know the RTC usually post pictures from each week's graduation on their facebook page.

I almost forgot...he's an honor guard and they may be performing in next week's graduation ceremony.
