Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Reenie, thanks for reminding me - we need to ask our SR's where in line/formation they are marching. They will have the division flag, so that cuts it from almost a thousand to less than one hundred. I think they can tell us fourth one back on the left, or something like that. I need to write to mine so they can send that info, and I need to tell them to give me their place in MY eyes. my left, their right, etc.

I don't want to say Tiff's job :( she is petty officer Mail Person :( she thinks it's her fault that they don't get their mail on time, she processes (and another girl) as soon as they get it... but it's not enough! LOL

Ohhhh Reen... it will neat to see what she thinks of her sister!!! Like you said, we may not know what our kids look like!!! LOL They said they will see us, but we won't know who is who.. Tiff did say in her letter, she has not seen a mirror in weeks and has no idea what she looks like, she said she would love to do her hair and makeup, just to feel girlie!!!

LTLY.... you are having your hands full!! WOW... I'm impressed that you are doing this with the kids!! You go girl!

We are at the Navy Lodge! I have a 4yr old boy and the baby girl is almost 5mos. Not sure if we will have more or not...maybe a PIR souvenir (sp?) LOL!!!

Post pics of ourselves??? LOL ok... I'm going to put on my belly, like my son did.... ummmm NAVY won't work, I have three of us... we don't count the ex... he is like 12 people all in one... so, we will paint our belly's with USN??? I want to be the N I think it's more slimming! LOL but you have to look "all over" to make out the "N" LOL

Awww Reen... lol... Bless her little heart!! Does she recognize her sister when she see's her? I bet she is going to be so excited!! I want to sit next to you because I want to witness her happiness!!! I guess we can't because you will be up front with her.... wonder if we can say we are "with you" ??? LOL

LTLY.....hahaha you have it all planned out!! How old is the other baby? I think I am going to be staying where you are and all your family so maybe we will get to see each other... I wish Tiff was going as a spectator, she is the "babysitter" in the family! LOL she loves kids, the oldest does too, unless they cry hahaha


Who else is Navy Lodge? LTLY you are still, right?

My hubs said hes been on head duty too and that he is now super OCD about the bathroom! I can only assume that your son and my hubs are cleaning buddies,lol!
