Just because I love him too... this is my son tonight at Homecoming Football game... He is "V" for Jersey Village High School... he's a little dude, but not as little as he looks, the two boys next to his "V" are like 6'0 hahahaha

@tiffsmom, I am wondering about bottles as well. I still breast feed and pump, so she doesn't drink formula. She may have to if they won't let me bring Bmilk bottles on. But I am sure they will. They have a commercial in TX right now about how the state of TX supports breastfeeding mothers..."it's the law"...lol. Sad that it has to be a law on if you can breast feed in public or not. She is on green foods right now. I started my son out on green foods for the first month (no fruits or sweet veggies) and he still eats his veggies, so I am doing the same thing with her. After PIR I will incorporate sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash. Imagine that...I am such a planner and list maker. If only I could get laundry to do itself!
Thanks for the info on the walmart!

TiffMom - laughed when I read your comment about food. My son loves his food. He even volunteered for "head duty" so that he could eat first and shower first. Go figure. I should of used that tactic at home. He never cleaned his bathroom here. lol

@emmaship - Hang in there. All will be okay. Our BC group of 10/0/2010 so has this. A lot of people have also told me almost all get sick at one time or the other in BC. But they all support each other.

Prayers for all our SR's. The clock is ticking away quickly and before we know it, we will all be watching our SR;s graduate.

Awww how cute!! Does she eat finger foods? or little bits of food? LOL I haven't had a baby for 17 years LOL I heard there is a Walmart near the base so you can stock up once you get there but I know you need something until then... what about bottles, can you bring those too?

@Tiffsmom- she will be 5 mos on the 19th! She has been crawling for two weeks now!!!

@emmaship- 946 hasn't had a phone call in almost 3 weeks, and they have recently moved into a new ship. I know they have been very busy, and am wondering if, since your SR is rifle drill, that he is doing more practicing than some of the others in 946. My SR will be a body snatcher, so I doubt there is much practicing to that. I know all of 946 got sick a few weeks ago, and hear that is normal for BC. Also, doesn't some of the 900's participate in PIR's before theirs?
You are right, No News is Good News...chin up emma, I have a feeling we get calls this weekend!! Keep praying and sending those letters.

Emma I'm sure that is it... they are just busy and he probably sleeps like a log. I will pray for you and him too though! :)

I've looked for a letter all week. It was Aug. 22nd when I last talked to my son. I got a letter that week and that's it. I'm really quite worried about him. His girlfriend is not getting mail either. He is on the rifle drill team. I wonder if they are practicing a lot. Last time I talked to him he was sick. I continue to pray. It helps a little to know that no news is good news.

@reenie,

Yup my SR said the same thing, 14 days and he can do RAP (recruiter assistance program) to knock off 5 days and only use 9. That is cool because than he can already have some time built for the next visit.

My SR asked me to change my flight home and stay another day (he is G&G to GL so he will most likely have liberty for the full weekend.) We are staying till late Sunday allready and I think I would rather save the $300 it would cost to change the flight and go up myself at a later date to spend the weekend with him in Aschool.

She wrote all kinds of random stuff.... like pb&j on the tables? The automatic flushing toilets (that makes me sound like I have an Outhouse) she did mention the Butter/ketchup/mustard/mayo she said she's either eating to slow or the times are getting shorter or she is getting more food to eat LOL She lives for the food... never thought I would hear that out of her mouth! LOL

LTLY how old is the baby?
