reeniegalla... what hotel are you staying in?

Residence in has them, we had a nice little suite with a kitchenette, it was just under $100 but we had plenty of room to spread out and relax --- and we could have cooked if we had chosen to :) Wherever you call make sure you ask if there is a Navy discount --- we came out better that way than with our AAA discount

Gah, you gals are lucky to get letters so early! It take 5 days for mine to get to him or to me! Which means when they go out Mondays, I don't see them til Friday or Saturday! The holiday has screwed it up for me for sure. Makes for a really really long week.

Reen.... I hope they will let up on them and let them call :( I hope I get a letter today, but it may not be until tomorrow because of the Holiday. She writes alot and they all arrive on the same day, the last two Thursdays, but I want MORE!! Thurs mail is fun, but how cool it would be to have a Monday mail! hahaha

REENIEGALLA so far as I know there is no restriction on what you can send once they get to A School --- other than the obvious - drugs, weapons, etc. lol

That's the easiest part. what to wear! have 9 different outfits and lots of sneakers. 21 days seems like a long time, but there's alight at the end of the tunnel. YEH

I am going to be doing some cooking for my son before I leave. We are driving so I was thinking of making his favorite meal - meatloaf and mashed potatoes. He left for bootcamp in such a hurry (the recruiter gave the guys the wrong day so they shipped out one day earlier) that we didn't get to have his going away dinner. I hope this makes up for it. Can you all believe we only have 21 more days to go? I am giddy with excitement. The letters keep coming in. Some are short (6 words) and some are long. Anything we get from him is a blessing. I hope you all have a wonderful day:-)
