I'm hoping to hear from my son today. But mostly I'm hoping he calls his fiance, she's really needs to hear his voice today.

Does that mean that the divisions will likely be together in A school? Anyone else here going to GooseCreek?

My son said he was grad and go. He found out later that they may change his rate. Now I guess the grad and go is up in the air.

when you say usually the first two divisions are G&G, which are considered the first two? Lower numbers or higher numbers? Or is it whatever DIVs were formed the earliest? Thanks for the help.

Tiff'sMom: You are so RIGHT ON about Tiff most likely not wanting to do alot of tours! Especially if she is GradNGo, they usually just want to hang out for a while...oh well...maybe she will select ONE of the tours he has planned and go with him on that one if there is time. I will say....it is kind of nice that he is taking an interest in this whole event. I have seen so many comments on this site about ex's who could care less about supporting their new sailors...so sad after all of the hard work they have put into this....it will mean alot to Tiff regardless, don't you think? I think it is mighty nice of you to "hang out" with him after Tiff leaves! HA! I know that your situation is common with many sailors...and as along as all know that this weekend is all about TIFF, all should be fine! Good luck!

Tisha.... You obviously already had your hotel plans made?? What did yall do once he left? Oh My Gosh..... I really don't want Tiff to be shipped out... and I REALLY don't want to be in Chicago with a few days to spare with my Ex... ICK!
Comment by Tiff'sMom (Sharon) on September 6, 2010 at 2:26am
Thanks Tisha.... :) did yall rent a car?? I dont understand the insurance part of this yet... if you own a car, but rent a car, does that insurance count? LOL

LTLY... my ex emailed me last night...(he lives less than 10 miles) but we do not talk.... well, he emailed me and said for just HIM it is costing over 1200.00 to go to PIR... huh??? I am taking myself and Tiffs bro and sis... and that is my cost for all three!! Well, then he say's, in email, of course, that he has booked several "TOURS".... OK.... who is he taking?? Him?? I am sure Tiffany could care a less about having "TOURS" of Chicago... I am thinking, as this is my girl, lived with me her whole life, not with him.... but thinking she will probably want to SLEEP and just hang out.... LOL Our "Out to dinner nights" were (we were poor) was to get fast food, bring it home and watch a movie. Or play a board game.... He is normally NOT part of their lives and what TOURS he has planned is beyond me LOL one word to him.... AS*ho*e
