Hi, PIR 10/1 ladies! I got a phone call today! So excited to hear my recruit, he sounded good and I even let him have some of "MY" time to go ahead and call his dad too. I was talking to the guidance counselor on the phone about a student and my cell rang, when I saw the area code I screeched, it's my son from BC and I hung up on her. She understood! :-) No, I had no students in my room at the time. ;)

Sounds like all of the divisions have some 'bad eggs'; hopefully these twits will wise up.

Sharon, praying that Tiff gets a rate she wants, was her heart set on the one she signed up for? There are sooooo many jobs that I am confused by them all; hopefully she'll find one that will make her happy. Many (((hugs))) to Tiff!

No, he didn't call but I am just wondering if he got in or not. I don't know what his other choices were, if he even had any. We waited in DEP for this reason, so that he could get this rate. I mean, if they change it, it VOIDS his contract of anything we were promised or whatever. So now I am seriously concerned because his contract had specific things that were signed off on. We were told that if his rate changes, that the contract is VOID. I will be seriously irritated.

Ladies, be careful what you post on here...NO last names of anyone and no personal info about Navy personnel! Not a good idea!

My husband also said something about a possible rate change. I too thought this would not change from what he Dep'd in as...but I guess anything is possible!

Jules, I have NEVER heard of anyone gaining FAT weight there...but lots gain MUSCLE weight and look phenomenal at PIR. With all of the PT they do...and IT.....I don't know how those guys could have an ounce of fat on them! :-)

Praying for all of our N4M's in Earl's path. Please keep us posted on the conditions.
