I was under the impression the the rate chosen was what they would get. Thats why DEP was so long, waiting for spot. Im so confused. My kids didn't have real ratings, but know its one of 3. They are suppossed to pick order of those and then get whats first available.

Does any one know what it means that their rate might change. SR. said his job rate might change. Does this mean he might not be grad and go? He had his heart set on STG. Now that might not be.

I received 2 letters today from my SR. He had his wisdom teeth pulled. Doesn't sound any worse for wear. He said the division is not being very cooperative... no call for a while. The letters were written on the 27th and 29th. Hope attitudes have improved by now. Perhaps so they can call over the long week-end.He also said he has done very well on his tests. YEAH !!! He also said time is passing faster than he thought it would. All in all very up-beat letters. :).

Hey everyone, RTC just posted 23 awesome photo's on their Facebook page! Find them by typing the following in the friend search box: U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command

You will see lots of photos of all the performers at today's PIR (9/2/10), so that will be those recruits in the 900 divisions from several PIR groups.

Also - Craig in PIR 9/2 just posted photo's of their graduation on that groups page. He said he took a lot of photo's, will be posting more later too.

Tiffsmom- try to get the addresses they were asking for- they may call again needing them.

Tiffsmom,

Geez...My hubs is going FC or ET too. I wonder if he got in? He never even got around to mentioning any of that when we talked. Ugh. Something new to worry about. Never ending with this.

Sorry using my phone and inbetween bus runs. Not sure what they will do with her since we didn't have the addresses. Called recruiter and he called up there but doesn't know yet. Navy goes on holiday at midnight. This is hard not knowing what they are doing with her

Just received another letter from my SR. He sounds so much better this time and will be comforting for for his dad (tough dad is having a difficult time with our son being gone). Hope all have a great day - will check back later on all. Hope everyone is out of harms way of Mr. Hurricane Earl.
