TIFF'SMOM: From your post, sounds like you are in desperate need of some CHOCOLATE!

Remember, they are accumulating $$, even after uniform deductions, because what are they spending it on except for things like that? My son had plenty of money left when he got out of bc. They get 2 paychecks a month....so she will feell like she is rich! In fact, many look forward to spending some of it when they get to A School. It has been way too long since they spent money.

TIFFSMOM you are cracking me up --- you sound exactly like I felt when Cecily was in BC. I know all in all, Cecily had between 7 and 8 hundred dollars deducted for uniforms. I know that sounds like a lot but keep in mind it is for t-shirts, underwear, socks, 4 NWU (navy working uniforms) 2 dress whites, 1 dress blues, 2 peanut butters, boots, dress shoes, athletic shoes, athletic clothes, swimsuit, pea coat, rain coat --- and I'm probably leaving something out!

No, she doesn't need any more cash and no she probably didn't sleep as well as you want her to last night because she probably had to get up a 2 or 3 am to iron her clothes...lol.

Relax Mama, she will be fine :)

Do you know how much the actually got, after all their clothes and stuff were taken out? and do you know if they got a debit card with it? Do you think I should send her some more cash? Do you think she slept well last night?? hahahaha I'm the MOM of a million questions!

TiffsMom their pay is public knowledge, you can actually search on line for "navy pay rates" and you'll get a chart. It's according to their rate and their length of service.
