Hello all, hope everyone is well. Just took me 2hrs to catch up on 48 hr N4M absence. Thought I would have a ton of free time with the boys gone, but not so. Tomorrow I am picking up 3 of my dogs from the vet, all of them had to be spayed, just had not gotten around to it and it was almost "heat" time. No more doggie diapers! Take care.

Oh how true that is. Sometimes we come home late and they get fed late. My husband says they (the dogs) are going to put our suitcases on the porch one of these days. Poor Eris keeps looking for his master every time I park the truck. she sticks her head in and looks all around dumbfounded. I suppose I should get to sleep it is almost 3 am here. So great to chat with you Tiffs mom. Have a great night.

The names are toooo cute!! I love the dumb/smart comments.... poor Abner is caught in between.... he's got the smart lab in him.. but he has the dumb/bad/shut up doxie in him!!! LOL He's the neatest dog ever!! We had a bull terrier (Spuds McKenzie) dog....now talk about a dog that is dumb and won't shut up! LOL Our dogs are our lives..... they are treated better than the kids (they will testify to that) ahahahaha

We love our terrier - her name is Sunshine as we had just moved here when my son got her and she said that she brought sunshine to his life. However - she is dumb. The lab, my son's teacher gave to him - she is beautiful and too smart for her own good. When she has done something wrong - she runs and jumps in her pool as if to wash the evidence away. Her name is Eris (after the Greek god of chaos and destruction. Her name fits her perfect. I saw your Abner in your pictures - he is adorable1

Ohhhhh I love smooth fox terriers!!! (my parents showed dogs my whole life, so I know every breed LOL) but our best friends raised smooth fox terriers and they were so fiesty and fun!!! Our Abner is a Lab / minituare Dachshound mix.... he's a chocolate, only one that came out brown and has a lab face with itty bitty legs!

reeniegalla - talk about kittens all you want - love them - love them. However here people don,t and my lastcat was poisoned and it was terrible. So no more. Now I just have my recruits two dogs - smooth fox terrier (she is old) and the other a black lab. They keep us busy.

Thanks Sondra for all your posts. Seems your son fills you in on what's happening. My son is the same ship and div. as yours but I have only had one letter so I don't know much. By reading your posts I have an idea.

I'm trying how to figure out how to put the pics on the page... I mailed one to tiff, but it might be too big and the RDC's will take it from her, it was of Abner as a puppy... I'm not sure yet what kind of pics they can have yet, real ones, email type ones... what?? LOL

Where is LTLY??? How are her babies? I haven't seen a post from her in awhile... Is she ok?

I understand completely!! I went to the car before Tiff had to say goodbye to the dog... I did it once before with her sister and was fine till she said goodbye to Abner.... so I told Tiffie...I will wait outside in the car when you say goodybe to Abner, because he's our "little boy" and of course, she walked out bawling, it didn't help me much, I was crying the whole day, so was she, we couldn't even look at each other :*( but I feel so much better now that we got letters!!! In this day and age of phones/texting who would have thought that an old fashioned letter would mean so much to us!! LOL I love the kitty, take a lot of pics for your girl to see!!!! When you write her, print one out on the letter... I'm learning how to do that now, pics and letters LOL
