Does anyone know if any of the SR's have been paid yet? he's concerned about there being money so his fiance can get a plane ticket to grad.

They sure do. Don't want them to get out on the seas and have dental probs requiring surgery. Preventative maintenance.

Yeah gotta love those Mountain Climbers. We should all do 5 minutes of mountain climbers a day to share in their experience :)

I got my phone call from SF. Call #3. He sounded terrific. The only downside was that the phone he was on was broken. The chord caused the sound to fade in and out. That was frustrating but I was so glad to hear from him.. He passed his PT and swim test. Yeah SF. He has the first real written bc test Wed., the first real inspection and perhaps have wisdom teeth out Thurs. What a week but he sounds very up-beat. I am so thankful.

We opted to stay at the La Quinta. Its about 8 miiles from base but is surrounded by restaurants, Six Flags, etc. Not sure what the boy wants to do after graduation but there are options nearby. We'll only get him for a few hours so we're going to have as good a time as possible.

Got a phone call from my boy today!! Poor guy sounds like he has a cold. But other than that he sounded good and optimistic. Said they had to stop alone the way to the phone center and do mountain climbers....lol almost didn't get their calls.

I just heard from my son also. Hip Hip Hooray!! The not so good news is that he's sick and says that everyone is sick. In addition he has an infected blister and is due to get 5 teeth pulled on Wed. That doesn't seem like good timing to me. I'm praying for his health. I hope he can hold up to it all. That's probably why I got the call. Who do you call when you're sick? Mom

Just got another phone call from my son today. He sounded great even though he just had all of his wisdom teeth pulled on Friday. They told him that he will need braces also in the near future. He goes back to full duty tomorrow after being on lite duty all weekend. He did miss out on the confidence course so hopefully he'll get to do that this week. He passed his swim test and his PT assessment last week....woohoooooo!!!!!!!! Didn't talk very long (15 min) because he wanted to call his girlfriend but was very happy to hear from him and know that he's doing well.
