I understand that it takes about 5 days to get mail.

Happy for Div 900 families, but to be honest, slightly jealous. Can't wait til I get a phone call home from my son.

I havent received a letter yet either and my husband told me the same thing......they sent one a couple days ago so hopefully we get one soon! I have been stalking the mailman.

ckwcas, my husband told me that a couple of days ago one of their petty officers requested outgoing mail. He said he would send it personally from his home. I am wondering the same thing as you, how long will it take to actually get sent. Also, to any wives or dependants out there, they have not yet filled out info for tricare and adding depentants. So this could take longer to get than the standard 14 days.

A new Mom to this group, will ask my daughter-in-law to help me with posting and learn all the initials. Nice to have this support system in place. Hugs to all who are experiencing unspoken words.

Can anyone tell me if different genders can be on the same ship and division? Just wondering because Donna has a daughter and i have a son and there addresses are the same. Wondering if my son wrote down the wrong address, it would not be the first time!!! LOL

I asked the same thing when Josh ( my husband) said something about starting week 1 day 1 tomorrow. Apparently they are still ahead of some other divisions which still confused me. lol But oh well.....as long as the PIR date doesnt change im fine with it :)

Sam said the same thing. I don't get it.... but I don't have to.

RPOC is recruit petty officer in charge, and he just doesn't have what it takes for all the drill. He said he thinks he would have maintained the job if he were in a dif div, but being in the 900's he doesn't have any performance, drill, or musical background and it was just beyond him. He feels relief from the pressure though, and isn't too upset about it. He will have his wisdom teeth removed as well. Ewe! I hope they do get another call after that to see how he is doing. Idk why they are just on week 1 day 1...but he said it won't affect their PIR date.
