Does anyone know any hotels that are nice but inexpensive. I want to book some tonight I think. I really can't wait now. It's funny we were all soooo sad a few short days ago, and now we all are soooo excited and happy for our kids.
I still have a few "moments" every now and then, but for the most part, it is all good!! I hope they get to write this Sunday, although we will be on vacation next week when it arrives. I sent my son his first letter today... 4 pages long... typed!! I started to write it by hand but it probably wouldn't have fit in the envelope!
Calvanlove- I see your husband is the same shp/div as my son. What is he training for, my son is air rescue.

My husband left on 8-3. I received his Form letter a week after he left. He is on Ship 4 DIV 821 and will be graduating on 10-1. I absolutely cannot wait for this day to come. It has been a hard long week and a half. I am so relieved that I now know I can keep in close contact with other wives/moms that have sons/daughters/husbands in the same Ship/Div. I will see you all on Oct. 1!!
