Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 337 & 338. These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Son Josh is in 338, no letter from HIM yet.  Please share if anyone gets letters, maybe our kids will be friends! My son is going to be NUKE, anyone else?  He will be going to A school in So Carolina. Nancy

Hi there.  My name is Denise... My son's name is Cody and he says that he is on Ship 3 - Division 338; however, I haven't received the form letter yet confirming that.  I did receive his box just last week.  His training will be in Pensicola Florida.  His ship out date was August 16th from San Diego California,,,,

good morning

Hi Nancy!  Just letting you know that NUKE is only maybe 25 mins from my house.  I will be happy to meet your son and offering to help out in any way that I can.  My son will be going to A school in Pensacola, FL.  I can't believe we've almost made it and can't wait to see my boy next week!!!!  Seriously, I'm happy to help your son, should he ever need a place, a fill-in mom, clean laundry?  I have learned through this website that all of us moms stick together!!!!

My son with be with yours and I will be at the PIR.

Im waiting too!!! I think I have sent off 4 letters since I recieved his address. Please keep us posted if you get a letter!

My son is in div 337.  We didn't get a letter today either.  I think we are the only 2 div not to get letters.  We are from MI anyone else?

Hi LoriM, My son is in 337 as well. Nope, haven't had a letter since the form letter. Really hoping one comes today. Kevin is 18, just out of high school. We live in Vancouver, WA. Take care!
Hey Heidemarie, Kevin is my son in 337, he's a little over 6 ft tall, has blond hair--when he has hair! Vancouver WA is where we're from...my husband Skip & I and my mom and step dad (retired Navy) will be at Sarge's M&G and at PIR. We're staying at the Navy Lodge too.
That's a great idea about SRs without family there. I keep thinking about those not getting letters as well. I wish there were a way to find out who and help in that way. My youngest son's soccer team could write letters to them...or something like that. Hugs to you & your daughter!

Hey Debbie! My husband and your son sound pretty similar (physically at least). My hubby is Ship 3 Div 337 too and he is 6'1 and blond (when he has hair) too!! My husband is 23 yrs old. He was by far the oldest while in DEP. I've written and sent 3 letters so far but still no letter from him just like you guys =( Hopefully this next week we will get one. My husband is VERY parsimonious when it comes to communicating information so I am afraid I will feel like he should have written more. But I hope our boys are doing well!!!

I sure hope so too...both in getting a letter and they're doing well! Can I tell Kevin your husband's first name?

Sure you can!! My husbands name is Nathan. We are from Oklahoma =)
