My son said he had to wait 4 days for the division to fill up before they started... so yes, you're lucky Missy!! :)

My son actually got there on the 18th. The recruits that arrived that day were the first ones to start up Training Group 48. He missed being with the 10/8 Graduation (Training Group 47) by 1 day! I was so sad! :(

From what I can tell, anyone that arrived by the 24th made it into the 10/15 group. It takes a week or so to fill the Training Group.

So... Missy... you are really lucky because your recruit was at tail end of filling up the training group so you got an extra week almost with him! ;)

Here is the email response from the t-shirt company

Yes. I can get it to you in time as long as I have the order no later than Monday, September 27th.

Yes. The design will be for the division that you order for. Each division has their own design.

I've attached an order form for you. A couple of notes though: 1 -- I can only do black items for graduation. The shirts all go to one printer at the same time. And he only prints black. The gray items would take 4 - 6 weeks from my other printer. 2 -- the Ladies t-shirts run very small (small is a size 0 or smaller, medium = 0 - 2, Large = 4 - 6, XL = 8 - 10)

Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,
Caryle

MissUAlready, that was so sweet to write to great grandma! She is going to be so thrilled I'm sure. And my son is ship 12 Div. 342 on the USS Triton as well!
