LC girfriend you are so funny! Eight pages! Whooohooo! Look at you! That is terrific. OMG can that boy eat! I can call him a boy because my son is 28 and my youngest boy is 24. I am so happy for you! Yes, he has definitely made your night! That's right, 3 weeks and 6 days and getting closer every day!!!!

I got a letter today!!!!!! This bad boy had 2 stamps on it and was EIGHT PAGES front AND BACK!!!! It was hilarious! He is my best friend and I love & miss him so much :(

He sounds SO good compared to last time and is almost better (was so sick and then better and then sick again). He said the classifier was at the end of next week (this was the 8th so that probably happened or is happening right now) and will find out his job (he is a nuke but not sure what job yet) and when he is leaving. He told me all about p-days etc. The best part is that my man is a skinny little nerd and he said

"eat 3 meals a day and when i tell you i pack it in, i pack it in. you wouldnt believe in your wildest dreams what i am eating and the food here is pretty good. (for breakfast) usually have 2 bowls of cereal, banana, apple, 1 or 2 pieces of raisin toast with jelly or peanut butter and a nutrigrain bar! Now imagine what i eat for dinner"

This is coming from a man who doesnt eat breakfast. It still makes me laugh to think about it. he says things are a lot smoother now and that his div is having trouble coming together as a team but he feels like everyone has that problem at first. He said marching is hard and they suck at it. lol. he said they are starting their inspections and "have to stand at attention for hours".

He says since he is the dental yeoman he has been spending a lot of time with the regular yeoman "my age, cool kid"....who is that??? My SR is 23 turning 24

"like my all capital letters? it's my recruit handwriting"...he makes me laugh.

It is friday and for those of you leaving for PIR on thursday (assuming most are) that means we now have 3 weeks and 6 days...which is WAY cooler than 4 weeks!

Just so you know...I got one of the questionnaires back from my son today. His comment on the end was...there's nothing like laying in your rack at night and having three or four recruits yell out.."my mom said to tell you hi"!

Oh suwil68! I'm so happy for you. 3 letters! I'm so glad he is feeling better. We worry so much when they are not well, but that sure is good news. I'm glad so many of our children are going to chapel. Their faith is so important. Hugs to you!!!

Congrats to everyone for the letters and calls....we are just about on the downhill slide.

I received a letter today and her boyfriend got 2. She sounded real upbeat and said is trying really hard. She did not give me alot of specifics just that she was okay and trying to make us proud. She is excited about her dog tags, she said she even got to put Christian as her religion on them and she thought that was awesome.
