Took 3 calls to the recruiter but finally got a ship and division that makes sense. SHIP 12 DIVISION 343.

Victoria I feel bad that you are getting the run around. I first was given a totally inaccurate ship and division with a Sept graduation date. Don't know why some give up the info more easily than others. Hang in there. I haven't received a letter or call yet either. I know its hard to wait.

Yes... it does seem like a lot longer... like 2 years! ;)

Keeping my fingies and toesies crossed that you'll get your letter today!

It's so cool that out PIR date is listed on the site now! Makes it seem more legit somehow!

I really can't believe they have only been gone 2 weeks! Doesn't it seem like FOREVER?! I'm so anxious to get the letter with his few lines.... just to hear he's ok will be a big thing for me.

Pink - I want to go now, too! I'm going to be one very hyped up momma... that's all I know.

Yeah... hubby loves me... even with all my quirks! Someone's gotta keep the ship afloat and sailing smoothly! ;)

I'm so excited that we are making all these plans!! I'm ready to go now! LOL! I guess I'll have to be patient for a little longer yet.... sigh. But October 14 can't come soon enough for me!

Dana - that's great news about the shuttle from our hotel! That sure seems like a better way to go than driving. Oh, and plan away girl! I'm all about advanced planning! Your husband is lucky to have you! :)

Here's hoping to lots of us receiving letters today!

Rebecca - How are you holding up? Have you made your reservations yet?
Comment by DanaMN ~Kris's Mom~NCTS SanDiego on August 30, 2010 at 10:59am
LOL!!! I know... it's so cool to be HAPPY about something, right?

Hubby doesn't get it. He thinks all my planning is ridiculous... but hey, he married me. ;)
