My box was waiting by my front door when I got home!!!!!! You guys were right, it's a happy and a little sad thing. No notes in there for me. Pants rolled up and dropped in! It was nice to just see his handwriting on the box! Now I NEED the letter!!!

Yes, I'm thankful school starts next week. Routine should help. So I'm confused...there is always one in the crowd!! Everyone has their "box" in the group but not everyone has their letters. Is that correct?? And we are estimating the PIR date as 10/15 but that could change? Is that right.

Thanks for the welcome. Anyone got younger sibling that are missing their brother/sister? Trying to keep everyone busy but no matter what the house feels weird. Big adjustment for everyone!

Hello everyone, Wow this group is not wasting any time getting started. I am here along with others to help answer questions. My daughter had PIR July 23rd. She was in the choir 936 division. She was a grad and go and was sent to Pensacola on a chartered flight. We stayed at the Navy Lodge. If anyone has any questions at all please send me a friend request and I will be happy to help in any way I can.

For now, start writing letters, write every day if you can and as soon as you get the address start sending them. They won't get any letters for the first 2 weeks but all the ones you send will get to them soon. They need lots of words of encouragement and they live for mail. This time will pass much much faster than you think it will. Now start writing and be nice to your mail carrier, he or she is going to be very important to you over the next 8 weeks :)
