Hi ladies! PIR weekend was awesome! Having time with my son was so wonderful and I was so impressed with the graduation. It just made my heart swell with pride to see all those young men and women dedicating themselves to serve this great nation of ours! not only did we get the joy of our son but we also had the exclusive experience of being apart of our son proposing to his girl while we were there. This is a weekend that we will never forget and will cherish forever! Thank you all so much for being supportive and helpful throughout this whole experience. I have had the fortune to have been apart of such a great site where mothers share, express and connect with each other. If only we had this type of site for ALL aspects of our lives! lol I wish you all happiness and hope we can continue to stay in touch while our Sailors continue through the journey they have chosen.

Hi Navy Moms! I was off the site during PIR weekend and then had some training to attend at work. I am finally back online!! I changed my name too - but kept the "Pink" so you would know it was me!!

What an awesome weekend! I am SO grateful that we got to spend time with our Sailors! It was a very special weekend with my son and my family. My Mom even made it to the hotel for a couple of hours on Friday evening!!

I want to thank all of you for helping me through this journey that was boot camp and PIR. I would not have made it without your encouragement and information! I hope we can stay in touch going forward and keep track of our Sailors progress.
