Had an amazing w/e w/my son!! It was so nice to have met the few of you that I did. I regret not being able to make it to Anastasia's for the M&G, but we were exhusted. We too, had to sacrifice some of our time w/Dev as he had watch duty from 8am-12p Sat. morn. We did however cherish every other min that we spent w/him. Can't wait to see him@ Christmas!! It was funny watching him on his cell phone catching up w/all of his friends. To all of you on N4M"s, you all area wonderful bunch of families & I've really enjoyed sharing these past few weeks w/all of you. Good luck to all of our Sailors as they begin the next leg of their journey!!

DanaMN and deemedic - I changed my name from Winniesam to this. Thought it was more fitting but anyway, I had such a good time at meet & greet and meeting both of you. Dana, I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for the Navy Moms and being there for us. The name tags were awesome! I enjoyed sharing the Graduation ceremony with you too as well. We will stay in touch I hope if that's okay with you. Thanks again and Hooyah! Oh and Dana, I told my husband the same thing: I think I'll move near Anthony! LOL!!!

Hi Everyone.
I just wanted to say that I thought the whole ceremony was beautiful. When I finally got to my sailor, Andrew, he almost knocked me down and there were lots of tears to be shared. We spent the day together but he seemed so worried about making it back on time. We got him there before his time but he still wasn't on the line in time. We had to sacrifice part of Saturday because he had watch. It was hard to say goodbye and when he walked away he never looked back. Glad he didn't as I was just a mess. We flew back to Dallas on Saturday as we have younger children at home. Anyway, I'm proud of all the new sailors and even meet some of Andrew's friends. They call him Gonzales with an "S". They asked why his named was spelled with an S on the end. His dad told him it had to do with which side of the border you were on...lol

Hi everyone! It was so nice to meet some of you this past weekend!! Graduation was really wonderful! I'm so proud of all our Sailors!

I miss my Sailor though! I'm already looking forward to him having leave after A School. Hopefully around Christmas or maybe after New Year's. I'm not really sure how I'm going to get through this... I wish I could move and be near him! :(

I guess it's just one step at a time... but this sure is hard!

Hugs!!!

I did not make it to the M&G because we had trouble with the plane at the airport and then we got bumped. Didn't arrive until 8 p.m....so sorry that I did not meet you all! It was a great graduation though! Good luck to your Sailors..(we don't have to say recruits any more!)..............Congratulations!
