Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 395 and 396

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good Morning!!

My son Wyatt is in Div 396.

My son is Div 395.  I haven't heard a word from him except for his box and navy letter.  I carry my phone everywhere.  Anxiety very high.  But I know he is fine and hopefully happy.  I think that is what I mostly want to hear.  Then I will be fine.  We have reservations at the Navy Lodge for PIR.  My son is going to Pensacola after Great Lakes.  Looking forward to meeting families at PIR.  Maybe Div 395 families could meet up somewhere Thursday evening?  Open to any plans.  Hopeful phone calls this weekend.  My friend has a son at Great Lakes also she got her first phone call day 16 (a Saturday).

was day 16 including the processing days - im at day sixteen...but that's with processing - just wondering if maybe this weekend the call is coming...

My son is Colt division 396. Hopefully I will get a letter from him soon and all is well

Hi Ssurman,  Have you gotten a letter from Colt yet? I finally got my first letter from my daughter Kayla last Friday, but no phone call yet. I hope you get a letter soon. How are you holding up? I pray everyday for our kids. God Bless Julie

My son Jeremy is in Div 396.  We will be at PIR on 10/18 and attending Sarge's Meet and Greet on Thursday.  We will also be staying at the Navy Lodge.  Hope to get a chance to meet everyone.

Hi, my is Julie and my Daughter Kayla (Laorosa) is also in Ship 11/Division 396. I also booked my stay at Navy Lodge. I am really looking forward to meeting all the moms whose sons/daughters are in the same ship and division. We all deserve a Great Big Hug cuz this is/has been one big rollercoaster ride emotions and all. How do you go about attending the SARGE'S MEET AND GREET? God Bless Julie

Julie have you heard any from your daughter? I got that one 5' phone call and then nothing....I just wish I would get a personal letter from Colt. The waiting is not fun :( I have tried to respond several times but I live in the country in Mississippi with very slow internet and it is not very good... lol)
