Italian Mom- If you also can go to RTC facebook page. I haven't seen any pictures on there of our group but seeing pictures from any group always makes me feel better.

This week has gone by so fast with us being busy for HS homecoming. I can't believe 2 weeks from today we will be on a plane headed to GL.
My son had missed his sister being around so we made a Flat Christine of her so she can go be with the family in spirit. LAst night my son who is only 9 did hid reading to flat Christine and he read for 3X as long as he has since she left.
Can't wait to be on that plane!!!
StephanieRae, Are you talking about ATT School (Apprentice Technical Training)? If it is and I remember correctly the school is 7 weeks. It is sort of self paced, but they do have limits on how far "ahead" they can be. Those within a class will all be at the same pace and finish at the same time, and it is almost all computer based.
italian mom, I apologize if I made it feel like you were being scolded, that was not my intent. I was just concerned that your first post included your sons full name, and your sons "safety" and anonymity is important. I was also afraid that your posts would get buried quickly here and it was apparent that you were looking for others to help with your concerns.
Again, I apologize if my messages to you came across the wrong way that was certainly not my intent.
Hi Italian mom, my daugher is in a brother division ship 9 div 346. I sent you a link in the other group and I hope a picture of your son is in there. I have not received a letter and just seeing her pictures were great. Only two weeks left and so instead of waiting for letters (although I still run to the mailbox), I look forward to a call telling me that she is a sailor. Friend me if you want to chat.
Thank you very much diannep nice to finally see u understand im confused u just made my night by being so kind i feel like im getting scolded on here by some people no names no this no that idk im a devasted mom just looking to make sure my son is doing ok. didnt read the rules came on all distraut looking for help i really appreciate your help thank you so much<3
diannep: With the notes of every one being so sick up there, maybe they should have gotten the gas a little sooner...then maybe they would all feel better by now..Lol
italianmom: Go up to the MEMBERS photo box above and to the right. There are alot of people from 346 which is the brother division of yours, they train together so know each other. There were a couple on there from 345 also. You can friend request them and compare notes!
italianmom: I see that you are the only one who has posted in the discussion group above. Strange that there are not more from 345/346 on here. Wonder where they are?
Hmmm...maybe the end? Yes, not a fun time....but over with quickly....and cures all respiratory illnesses! My son was on the last row and had to endure all of the others going through...said he was freaked out by the time his row got up there. Of course, they act like they didn't hear you say your name, etc so you have to repeat it....lots of "snot" (sorry....)....but he said 5 minutes after it was over, and they finished gagging, etc...they were all laughing. Probably because their illnesses were gone! :-)
